Shoreditch is bounded by Old Street to the south, Regents Canal to the north, Clerkenwell to the West and Bethnal Green to the East. Since the mid 1990’s Shoreditch has been a fashionable part of London, with the area subject to some considerable gentrification. The immediate area has become popular with “Tech” companies gravitating towards Old Street or “Silicon” Roundabout as it has now been dubbed. The creative influx has also brought with it a raft of fashionable bars and restaurants.
